A difficult year for manufacturing but Hitherbest continues to perform
There is no denying it – 2019 has been a tough year for the UK economy. This is particularly true of the manufacturing sector which has experienced negative growth over the last quarter.
Happily at Hitherbest, one of the Midlands’ most successful and long-standing sheet metal fabricators, we have plenty of reasons to be cheerful.
2019 has been another solid year for the company in which we have:
- secured 2859 orders
- fabricated 226,527 items
- welcomed 20+ new customers
- re-invested 28% of our profits
- created 7 new jobs.
A great team effort and a loyal customer base
We’re delighted that we’ve been able to continue investing in both our business and our local community, by expanding our workforce.
None of this would have been possible, of course, without our wonderful workforce and our fantastic customers. Thank you all.
We are constantly surprised and inspired by our customers’ innovative new product designs and creativity. We know that some have found 2019 to be a challenging year and we appreciate the trust they have placed in us.
